Busy day today. Started by going to Superstore this morning shopping for chili ingredients (SuperBowl) and a few things for home. That took about two hours because the store was an absolute ZOO!

Got home and Wes came over to help me make the chili. I made, literally, 30 pounds of chili. Like one HUUUUGE pot. It should feed an army tomorrow. None of that tomato sauce and ground been stuff either – serious good ingredients: mushrooms, celery, onions, garlic, red and green peppers, loads of beans (red kidney and brown), tons of ground beef, lime juice, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, chili powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, bay leaves, etc., etc. It’ll be good. I’ll bring some kick-butt hotsauce for people to add if they want.

After that I drafted Wes, Josh and Jeremey to help me tear a few things out of the basement bathroom to prep for renos. DW loaned me his truck and we pulled out the bathtub, sink, counter, drywall etc. It was a pretty good load.

Finally I am reformatting the boys’ computer and reloading Windows. It was getting pretty slow with all that comes with age on a computer in terms of drivers, background apps etc.

So a full day. Not bad but full.
