Why write? Why keep a blog. My ongoing experiment with blogging is now many years old and still seems to be going strong. I always wanted to keep a journal but am a slow writer and I didn’t always have pen and paper around. Being a technophile I always had some sort of web-enabled device though and typing is definitely my strength compared to writing. So the blog seems to work for me.

As a poet I write for the sake of writing. As a human being I post these writings because deep down I believe we all desire to be known and understood. The closest you will ever come to knowing me is through my poetry and other writing. If you ever come to a place where you think you understand me then for heaven’s sake tell me because I don’t understand me very well.

I hope you enjoy these things. They are reasonably random and always coming out of the context of my life.
