This morning I preached a sermon entitled – Remember the Future (it tied in nicely with Remembrance Day). More specifically it was about the hope in Revelation that they early church received and that the same hope is available to us today. I have to learn to develop a preparatory mindset when I preach Sunday morning. As we are working through our liturgy (music, prayer etc) I get all ancy and start pacing in my spot like a caged animal. I want to get to the pulpit and can’t seem to sit still…hardly the spiritual mindset to enter into a sermon with.
