It’s not very often I find a musician or musical group about who I can honestly say I like all of their music. I can name only a few:
Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, REM, The Beatles, Sting, U2, Vivaldi, Albinoni, Crowded House, the Gershwins and a few others. I think Jim Croegaert may be one of them. I know – you are saying to yourself – WHO? Jim who? I discovered his website because I was looking for Here By The Water after Darren and the Worship Team (TM) sang an amazing version of it on Sunday.

Harnessing Chaos 
You were right…….Jim who? :). I listened to all the songs he had in his \’The Listening Room\’, and my favorites where deffinitely "What Is This Love?" and his version of one of my favorites, "Was It a Morning Like This". He reminds me a bit of Keith Green with his piano playing style, and his heart felt lyrics. Keith Green is one of my all time favorite male Christian musicians. Sad that his life was cut so short :(. It also reminds me a bit of an older Christian singer named Chuck Girard. Can\’t find him much anymore, but I grew up listening to him. Personally, I usually tend towards music with more instruments than just piano, which is probably why I like those two songs the best. Overall though, I like it quite a bit :). Nice to discover new artists, thank you 🙂

Have been searching online to find Jim Croegaert\’s CDs and found this site. I met Jim two decades ago at Reba Place Fellowship in Evanston IL. He was part of the worship team and often his music would be sung. I\’ve been trying to find CD copies of the old cassettes that I have… just listened to them again and my heart was reminded how much his music meant to me. He is a wonderful, gentle man… and his music surely expresses that.
