First of all – THANK YOU.

Your eyes on my work reminds me that I still exist. I appreciate it deeply. You are part of an intimate group of 660 subscribers (six more and I win a free exorcism). More broadly speaking you are the peak part of a community of more than 40,000 visitors over the past 20 years who have contributed to more than 80,000 views.

You should know that almost every poem I write, without exception, goes through multiple versions. This means that what you get in your email is usually a first draft and the final, “better” version is on the website. From time to time it would be great if you would visit the website and note the differences between what you get in your inbox and what becomes the finished product.

Once again thanks. When I transitioned to writing my poetry in a web-based repository I never imagined where it would bring me. Now here were are, thousands of poems later and three volumes of poetry published.
