ol’ rabbit ran like life
never looking never caring
just moving
careening
crazy killing of
the laughing ones
the smiling ones
a dumb destroyer
all broken heart and heat
wreckage of light
sometimes you showed heart
but mostly
just ripper and runner
and stealer of this son’s love
have it
have it all
