Well – we had a good night’s sleep. We’re back at the pool and heading to Universal Studios later today…should be fun.

So – all seven of us packed into the van and hit the road for Florida on Wednesday evening at 8 pm. We crossed the border without incident and travelled straight through stopping only to perform vital bodily functions. We drove through:

 

– North Dakota

– South Dakota

– Missouri

– Illinois

– Kentucky

– Tennessee

– Georgia

– Florida!!!

 

We arrived at our resort in Orlando near Disney Friday at 4 pm.

 

I can say without any hesitation that we have a certifiable road trip family. The who experience has been brilliant and the kids we spectacular even without the aid of electronic devices (cause we blew a fuse in the car). Even the series of backroads we had to drive by accident at night in Kentucky worked out.

 

Stopped in St. Louis and did the whole arch thing…stepped into the Mississippi River and thought about the history (and cleanliness).
