As I continue to read The Hammer of God by Bo Giertz (graciously loaned to me by Rev. A) I have been given a new view of a verse – Luke 22:32 which I find reads best in the King James version and the New Living Translation. These are the words of Christ to Peter (in KJV):
"but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."
What hope is packed into these few words! That Christ intercedes on behalf of His broken servant so that he might continue to be used in His service.
Yup, that\’s one of the main themes that runs through the whole book. So does this mean you\’ve just finished part 1? We have a film of part 1 in our DVD collection; it\’s pretty good, too. Do you do Swedish subtitles?

Sweet – a film??!? That would be pretty cool. Maybe in the new year you and your wife can come over to my place and get worldly by watching it on our projector. Swedish subtitles are fine but I prefer English subtitles myself. 😉

I think my beloved meant that the film is in Swedish with English subtitles… But yeah. Good film.

Did I ever mention what a pain it is that, for some reason, it won\’t let me (us) put our names in when posting here? We can play "guess the poster." :o)

You have to log in with an MSN ID. I have been guessing based upon theological content. 🙂

I sign in with my hotmail account, but it still won\’t let me put my name in.
But, how can you tell theological content between the *two* of us? :o)
(Actually, that particular smiley is as good as a signature, for me.)
